**Dubai, UAE** – India’s victory in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy final against New Zealand has been underscored by their strong showing in the tournament’s official Team of the Tournament. Six Indian players were selected, led by the talismanic Virat Kohli.

The 12-member team, announced by the ICC, features a blend of star performers from the victorious Indian side and key players from other competing nations. Kohli, along with Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Varun Chakravarthy, and Mohammed Shami, all made the playing XI, with Axar Patel named as the 12th man.

New Zealand, the tournament runners-up, also had a strong representation with four players selected. This includes Rachin Ravindra, named Player of the Tournament after scoring two centuries and accumulating 263 runs, topping the run charts. Mitchell Santner captains the Team of the Tournament.

Other notable selections include Glenn Phillips from New Zealand, who contributed significantly with both his batting and fielding prowess, and Matt Henry, who, despite missing the final due to injury, finished as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker. India’s Varun Chakravarthy also impressed, taking nine wickets in just three matches.
