**Bengaluru, India –** A probe has been launched into the alleged misuse of VIP airport protocol by actress Ranya Rao, following her arrest for gold smuggling. Rao was apprehended by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) for allegedly smuggling gold bars valued at ₹12 crore (approximately $1.46 million USD) from Dubai to Bengaluru.
