**Hubbali, March 11, 2025:** A Lok Adalat held in Dharwad district, Karnataka on March 8th resulted in the successful settlement of 72,609 cases, a significant achievement in resolving both pending and pre-litigation disputes.
The event saw the resolution of 10,908 out of 16,690 pending cases identified as eligible for compromise, and a remarkable 61,701 out of 63,760 pre-litigation cases settled amicably. This included the reconciliation of 16 matrimonial disputes and the resolution of 40 cases involving senior citizens.
The settlements resulted in the recovery of ₹9.65 crore from pre-litigation cases and ₹43.26 crore from cases already in court. Principal District and Sessions Judge B.G. Rama and Senior Civil Judge Parashurama Doddamani praised the event as a resounding success.
