**Hyderabad, March 11, 2025** – Hyderabad police have arrested three inter-state drug peddlers and seized 30.7 kilograms of ganja (cannabis) worth ₹11.3 lakh in a raid at Murgi Chowk in Hussainialam on Tuesday. The accused, identified as Mohammed Yasin (42), Gopal Khara (19), and Uttam Tamel (19), were apprehended following a tip-off.

Yasin, a barber from Uttar Pradesh currently residing in Hyderabad, was previously arrested in Visakhapatnam in January 2023 for ganja trafficking. After his release, he reportedly resumed his illegal activities. Khara and Tamel, both students from Odisha, assisted Yasin in procuring the ganja from a supplier named Vicky in Odisha and transporting it to Hyderabad. The trio intended to sell the contraband to a contact named Kishan in Dhoolpet.

Police are currently searching for Vicky and Kishan. An investigation is underway. The seizure highlights the ongoing efforts of Hyderabad police to combat the inter-state drug trade.
