The bus, carrying passengers from Texas, was engulfed in flames, with only 10 of the 24 occupants surviving.
Meanwhile, in southern Oaxaca state, 11 people perished when a bus overturned on a highway near Santo Domingo Narro. Twelve others sustained injuries, two critically, and were transported to local hospitals. Authorities in Oaxaca are investigating the cause of the accident.
