**Palakkad, Kerala, March 10, 2025** – An autorickshaw driver and his son were injured Monday when a tree fell on their vehicle near Ottapalam in Palakkad district, Kerala. Sajeesh Kumar, 40, and his eight-year-old son, Ashirvad, were reportedly on their way to school when the accident occurred. The autorickshaw was severely damaged.

Ashirvad sustained serious head and jaw injuries. Both father and son were rescued by locals and taken to a private hospital in Vaniyamkulam for treatment. The extent of their injuries is not yet fully known. Police are investigating the incident.
