HYDERABAD, March 10, 2025 – The Telangana Public Service Commission (TSPSC) released the results of the Group 1 main examination today. The results, however, only show the preliminary marks obtained by candidates in the mains examination. The final results, including the merit list, will be published later.
A total of 21,093 candidates appeared for the Group 1 mains examination, which was held from October 21 to 27, 2024, across various centers in the state. This recruitment drive aims to fill 563 Group 1 posts. Initially, 31,383 candidates qualified the preliminary examination.
Candidates who have doubts about their marks can apply for a recount within 15 days by paying ₹1000 per paper online. The TSPSC will then release a list of candidates eligible for verification based on the corrected marks and a 1:2 ratio.
This is the first Group 1 recruitment drive in Telangana after 11 years, creating significant anticipation among job seekers. The TSPSC has also announced that the Group 2 general rankings will be released on March 11, and the Group 3 general rankings on March 14. The Commission has stated that filling positions in order of priority will prevent a backlog.
