**New Delhi** – The second leg of the Parliament’s Budget Session opened today amidst significant uproar from the Opposition. Protests focused on the ongoing delimitation exercise and a separate language dispute, culminating in a walkout from the Rajya Sabha. Further points of contention expected to be raised include the Waqf Bill and recent US trade tariffs.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to present the budget for Manipur, currently under President’s Rule.

Before the resumption of parliamentary proceedings, the Congress party is holding a meeting to strategize for the remainder of the session, which runs until April 4th. Coordination with other INDIA alliance parties is anticipated.
