**KADIRI, Andhra Pradesh –** Andhra Pradesh IT and Human Resources Development Minister Nara Lokesh fulfilled a campaign promise on Monday, offering silk robes to the presiding deity at the 13th-century Lord Sri Khadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Kadiri. The offering was made on behalf of the state government.
Minister Lokesh, along with Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad, arrived in Kadiri via Puttaparthi Airport. They were received with traditional honors by temple priests who also performed a Vedic blessing ceremony after the ministers’ worship. Minister Lokesh further participated in the temple’s Kalyanotsavam ritual.
The minister’s visit follows a pledge made during his Yuvagalam yatra, promising a visit to the temple upon the TDP’s return to power. The temple, administered by the endowments department, holds significant historical importance.
