**Madurai, Tamil Nadu – March 10, 2025** – Madurai district police have apprehended two suspects in the murder of a 70-year-old retired state government employee, Indrani, whose body was discovered on March 4th in a secluded area under Perungudi police station limits. Indrani, a resident of Villapuram, had been reported missing on February 20th by her sister to the Avaniapuram police station. One of the suspects is known to have had an acquaintance with the victim. The investigation is ongoing.
