**Hyderabad, March 10, 2025** – The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) announced that the results for the highly anticipated Group-1 examinations will be released on Monday. This announcement brings welcome news to the thousands of candidates who have been awaiting the results since the exams concluded in October 2024.
The Group-1 exams, held for 563 positions, saw 21,093 candidates appear for the main examination. The TGPSC will initially release the preliminary marks of the candidates. This will be followed by a re-counting option, and finally, a 1:2 ratio merit list after the re-counting process is completed. Detailed marks will be available on the TGPSC website.
The release of the results comes after the Supreme Court dismissed two petitions challenging the exam results. These petitions, filed approximately a month ago, raised various objections. The Supreme Court’s dismissal clears the way for the TGPSC to proceed with the announcement. This marks the first Group-1 recruitment in Telangana since the state’s formation 11 years ago.
The TGPSC also announced that the general ranking for Group-2 exams will be released on Tuesday, and the general ranking for Group-3 exams on March 14th. The Group-1 recruitment process has been significantly delayed due to various legal challenges and protests.
