Sun Mar 09 23:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Bell Wins Third Straight NASCAR Cup Race at Phoenix
**Phoenix, AZ –** Christopher Bell dominated Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway, securing his third consecutive victory and becoming the first driver to achieve this feat since Kyle Larson in 2021. Bell, driving the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, led a race-high 105 laps, holding off teammate Denny Hamlin in a final two-lap restart to claim his 12th career Cup Series win and second at Phoenix.
Hamlin finished second, followed by Kyle Larson, Josh Berry, and Chris Buescher rounding out the top five. William Byron, Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch, Zane Smith, and Chase Elliott completed the top ten.
The race was marred by a multi-car wreck on lap 99, involving several contenders including Chase Briscoe, Justin Haley, and Carson Hocevar. Other drivers caught up in the incident were Brad Keselowski, Cole Custer, Riley Herbst, Shane van Gisbergen, Noah Gragson, AJ Allmendinger, Todd Gilliland, and Austin Dillon.
The race utilized a softer Goodyear option tire designed for increased grip but faster wear, providing strategic opportunities for teams. Ryan Preece showcased the option tire’s effectiveness, charging from 33rd to third in Stage 1. William Byron won Stage 1, while Bell secured Stage 2.
The NASCAR Cup Series now heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway next Sunday for the Pennzoil 400.
