**Beed, Maharashtra –** A local BJP functionary, Satish Bhosale (also known as “Khokya”), has received a threat via Facebook purportedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, prompting a police investigation. The threat, related to allegations of deer poaching against Bhosale, demanded his arrest. The message, posted on a Facebook account which police suspect may be fake, stated, “Deer is our God. Khokya does not deserve forgiveness.”
Beed police have contacted Facebook to obtain details about the account and are investigating the authenticity of the threat. No First Information Report (FIR) has been filed yet. Separately, the forest department is already investigating Bhosale for alleged poaching, conducting searches at various locations. The incident highlights the intersection of organized crime threats and ongoing investigations into wildlife crimes in the region.
