Mon Mar 10 10:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Double Trouble: Two Weather Systems to Bring Weekend Rain to Big Bend

**TALLAHASSEE, FL** – Get ready for a wet weekend in the Big Bend region of Florida. WCTV First Alert Weather is forecasting a busy weather pattern with two distinct systems bringing significant rainfall starting today.

Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected today, with the Big Bend, particularly south of I-10, anticipated to receive more rain than South Georgia. The increased rainfall is attributed to a frontal boundary to the north. Highs will reach the mid-70s under mostly cloudy skies.

Rain chances increase overnight tonight as a low-pressure system and warm front move across the Gulf Coast. This will lead to widespread rain across the entire area on Sunday, with a chance of thunderstorms. Saturday’s rain chance is 60-70%, rising to 80-90% on Sunday.

The good news? Cooler, drier air will arrive on Monday, with only a few possible showers. Tuesday and Wednesday promise sunny skies, lows in the 40s, and highs in the 70s. While a few isolated showers are possible towards the end of the week, temperatures will climb closer to 80 degrees.
