**JACKSONVILLE, FL (March 5, 2025)** – A line of storms that swept through the Jacksonville area Wednesday afternoon has cleared, leaving behind cooler temperatures and a stunning sunset. While gusty winds reached over 30 mph at times, the storms remained non-severe, with rainfall amounts generally light (0.23 to 0.35 inches).

Rain is expected to fully depart St. Johns and Flagler counties early this afternoon. Temperatures will drop into the 60s this evening and into the 40s overnight. Sunshine and high pressure are forecast for the coming days. However, another round of rain is expected to return by the weekend.
