**Tirunelveli, March 9, 2025** – Water levels in two major dams in Tamil Nadu remain stable, though significantly below full capacity, according to the latest data released by *The Hindu*.

As of Sunday, the Papanasam dam registered a water level of 89.10 feet out of a maximum capacity of 143 feet. The inflow stood at 264.06 cusecs, with a discharge of 200 cusecs. Similarly, the Manimuthar dam recorded a level of 88.70 feet (out of 118 feet), with an inflow of 217.03 cusecs and a discharge of 450 cusecs. While both dams show healthy inflow, they are considerably below their maximum storage capacities.
