**Dubai, UAE –** The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand is set to take place this Sunday in Dubai. This marks India’s third consecutive appearance in the final, and they are aiming for a victory. Unlike the previous tournament in Pakistan, which was plagued by weather disruptions, Dubai is expected to provide favorable conditions for an uninterrupted match, according to weather forecasts.
However, the possibility of a tie, reminiscent of the controversial 2019 World Cup final, remains a concern. To avoid a repeat of the boundary-count controversy which sparked widespread criticism of the ICC, a robust tie-breaker system has been implemented.
