**Shimla, March 9, 2025** – Three people died and three others were seriously injured in a road accident in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district on Sunday. A Maruti Suzuki S-Presso, carrying six passengers from Jammu and Kashmir, veered off the Chamba-Pathankot road and plunged into a gorge.
The deceased have been identified as Vidhya Devi, Manu (14), and Mahinder Kumar (48), all residents of Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. The injured, Shankar (32), Pathanu Ram, and Yash (6), are receiving treatment at a local hospital. Police are investigating the cause of the accident, but preliminary findings suggest the vehicle lost control before the accident. The families of the deceased have been notified.
