**NEW DELHI** – A 67-year-old security guard was killed and another man injured in a bull attack in Delhi’s Alipur area on Friday morning. Police responded to a call around 6:30 AM reporting the incident near Sai Baba Mandir on Alipur-Budhpur Road.
The victim, Ashok Kumar, was reportedly finishing his night shift at a godown in Nehru Enclave and walking home when the bull attacked him. A 60-year-old man, identified as Ram Lakhan, was also attacked by the same bull but sustained only minor injuries and escaped. Lakhan provided a statement to police detailing the events.
Municipal Corporation of Delhi officials arrived at the scene and captured the bull. A case has been registered at Alipur Police Station, and Kumar’s body was sent to BJRM Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The investigation is ongoing.
