**Alappuzha, March 7, 2025** – The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) launched a new bus service connecting St. Andrew’s Basilica in Arthunkal (Alappuzha) and Our Lady Of Assumption Church in Vlathankara (Thiruvananthapuram). The service, inaugurated by Agriculture Minister P. Prasad, aims to benefit pilgrims and the general public.

The bus will depart from Arthunkal at 6 a.m. and from Vlathankara at 2:40 p.m. Besides facilitating religious travel, the route is expected to be beneficial for residents traveling to the Government Medical College Hospital in Alappuzha and those visiting the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram and the Sreekrishna Swamy Temple in Neyyattinkara.
