**Mysuru, Karnataka –** Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to building a world-class Film City near Mysuru, a project projected to cost ₹500 crore. While land acquisition has been completed, the project has faced delays, leaving the Kannada film industry eager for progress. The Film City is expected to generate over 25,000 direct and indirect jobs, significantly boosting the local economy. Planned features include studios, theaters, a multiplex, a theme park, and hotels. The Chief Minister’s personal involvement has expedited the process, aiming to stimulate film tourism and improve livelihoods in the region.
