**Bengaluru, March 3, 2025** – The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has made available a second set of scientific data collected by the Aditya-L1 solar mission. This release includes valuable information on the Sun’s photosphere, chromosphere, corona, and in-situ particle and magnetic field measurements gathered at the first Earth-Sun Lagrange point (L1).
The data is accessible via the Indian Space Science Data Centre (ISSDC) portal at https://www.issdc.gov.in/adityal1.html, and also directly through PRADAN portal links: https://pradan.issdc.gov.in/al1 and https://pradan1.issdc.gov.in/al1. User manuals are available to assist researchers and students in analyzing the data.
This is the second data release from the Aditya-L1 mission, following a first release on January 6, 2024, which was accompanied by a national conference. Aditya-L1, launched on September 2, 2023, is currently in its third revolution around the L1 Lagrange point, a location 1.5 million kilometers from Earth towards the Sun. ISRO encourages researchers and students to utilize this valuable dataset to further solar research.
