Fri Mar 07 08:54:40 UTC 2025: ## Experienced Startup Leader Appointed CEO of Telangana’s T-Hub

**Hyderabad, March 7, 2025** – The Telangana government has appointed Kavikrut, a seasoned startup entrepreneur, as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Hub, the state’s leading technology incubator. His appointment is effective March 10, 2025.

Kavikrut brings 17 years of leadership experience to the role, including a decade at OYO, where he served as Chief Growth Officer. His accomplishments at OYO include expanding the company’s presence across over 100 Indian cities, launching new ventures, and spearheading international expansion into Japan. His background also includes founding a healthcare startup and working with prominent firms like Amazon and the Piramal Group. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MSc in Finance from BITS Pilani.

The appointment follows the resignation of Mahankali Srinivas Rao in October 2024. Sujit Jagirdar served as interim CEO since then. T-Hub, which moved to a new state-of-the-art facility in June 2022, has supported over 2,000 startups.

“Kavikrut’s passion for startups, global experience, and operational skills make him the ideal leader for T-Hub,” said Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, IT and Industries. Kavikrut himself expressed enthusiasm, stating, “I am excited by the potential of Hyderabad…as it steadily grows into a hub for startups building products and services for the world.”

B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, founding director of T-Hub and founder chairman of Cyient, lauded the appointment as a significant milestone. This appointment completes the Congress government’s filling of CEO positions for T-Hub, T-Works (hardware prototyping facility), and WE Hub (women entrepreneurship incubator) since assuming office in December 2023.
