**Hyderabad, March 7, 2025** – The Telangana government announced the appointment of Kavikrut as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of T-Hub, a leading technology startup incubator in Hyderabad. Kavikrut, a seasoned entrepreneur with a background in healthcare and travel tech, will assume his role on March 10, 2025.
Kavikrut’s career spans 17 years in leadership positions, including a decade at OYO, where he served as Chief Growth Officer. His accomplishments at OYO include expanding the company’s reach to over 100 Indian cities, launching new ventures, and spearheading international expansion into Japan. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MSc in Finance from BITS Pilani.
His appointment follows the resignation of the previous CEO, Mahankali Srinivas Rao, in October 2024. Sujit Jagirdar served as interim CEO during the transition.
T-Hub, known for its support of over 2,000 startups, aims to leverage Kavikrut’s expertise to further its mission of fostering entrepreneurship and accelerating startup growth. Special Chief Secretary, IT and Industries, Jayesh Ranjan, described Kavikrut as the “ideal leader” for T-Hub, citing his passion for startups, global experience, and operational skills.
Kavikrut expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity, highlighting Hyderabad’s growing potential as a global startup hub. The appointment marks the completion of the Congress government’s appointments of heads for T-Hub, T-Works, and WE Hub since assuming office in December 2023.
