Thu Mar 06 20:02:57 UTC 2025: ## Ex-Soldier Found Guilty of Rape and Triple Murder in Brutal Attack

**Cambridge, England –** A former soldier, Kyle Clifford, 26, has been found guilty of rape and three counts of murder following a horrific attack in Bushey, northwest of London, last July. Clifford had already pleaded guilty to the murders of Carol Hunt (61) and her daughters, Louise (25) and Hannah (28), but a jury at Cambridge Crown Court delivered a guilty verdict on Thursday for the rape of Louise Hunt, his ex-girlfriend.

The court heard harrowing details of the July 2024 attack. Clifford, enraged after Louise Hunt ended their 18-month relationship, meticulously planned the killings. He stabbed Carol Hunt to death before waiting an hour to ambush Louise, tying her up, raping her, and then killing her with a crossbow. He subsequently murdered Hannah upon her return home from work. The prosecution described the attack as a “violent, sexual act of spite,” fueled by misogyny. Evidence presented showed Clifford had listened to a podcast by controversial social media influencer Andrew Tate less than 24 hours before the killings, leading prosecutors to link the crimes to Tate’s misogynistic rhetoric.

Clifford was apprehended hours after the attack, injured and found in a north London cemetery. He also pleaded guilty to charges of false imprisonment and possessing offensive weapons. Justice Joel Bennathan described the crimes as “dreadful” and “almost unspeakable.” Clifford’s sentencing is scheduled for Tuesday. The case has sent shockwaves through the community and reignited the debate surrounding online misogyny and its potential consequences.
