**Guwahati, [Date of Publication]** – The State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has released the results for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) for Grade 3 and 4 positions. Over 18.5 lakh candidates applied for Grade III posts and 13.7 lakh for Grade IV posts. The results can be accessed through three official websites: slrcg3.sebaonline.org, assam.gov.in, and slrcg4.sebaonline.org.
The ADRE, aimed at filling 5,023 vacancies, was conducted in two phases. Phase one, held on September 15th, covered HSSLC (Class 12) level posts. Phase two, on September 29th, covered bachelor’s degree and HSLC (Class 10) driver positions. A separate Grade 4 exam for HSLC, HSLC+ITI, and Class 8 level positions was held on October 27th. A total of 8,27,130 candidates sat for the HSLC level exam in the first shift, and 5,52,002 for the Class 8 and above positions in the second shift.
The Grade 3 exam employed a negative marking system. Candidates can access their results by logging in to the designated websites using their application number and password. The recruitment process typically includes a written examination and an interview. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had previously announced the results would be released by February.
