**CHENNAI, March 6, 2025** – Renowned musician and educator Anil Srinivasan has been awarded the MICA-Anjali Khandwalla Creative Mentor Award 2023-24 for his exceptional contributions to integrating arts and music into education. The award, presented by his alma mater, the Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA), Ahmedabad, recognizes Srinivasan’s unwavering commitment to mentoring young people.

Srinivasan, founder of the Rhapsody Music Foundation and Kruu, has mentored nearly 700,000 students through these initiatives, driven by his philosophy of ensuring “no child gets left behind.” The award was presented by Pradip Khandwalla, former director of IIM-Ahmedabad and the founder of the award. Khandwalla was also Srinivasan’s professor of strategic management.

The award is given to educators who foster creative potential in students and is selected by an independent jury of professors. Previous recipients include Kathak dancer Kumudini Lakhia.
