BENGALURU, INDIA (March 6, 2025) – Lavonne Ice Cream Kitchen, or LICK, has taken Bengaluru by storm just one week after opening its doors. Long queues are already a regular sight at the Indiranagar location, with customers eager to sample the innovative ice cream creations.

LICK offers a wide array of flavors, ranging from classic sundaes and scoops to unique melts and mocktails. Standout options include a toasted coconut ice cream, tropical fruit sorbet, and a coconut tres leches sundae (“Beach Party”), as well as a surprisingly popular watermelon feta ice cream. More unusual offerings include a carrot milk ice cream and an avocado toast ice cream, inspired by the popular breakfast item.

Lead chef Prathana Narang, who studied ice cream making at the Carpigiani Gelato University in Italy, explained the extensive research and development behind the menu. Months of experimentation led to the initial 16 flavors, with a focus on fun, relatable options for all ages. The team also developed high-protein, no-added-sugar ice creams containing 15 grams of protein per 100 grams. Even the children’s strawberry milkshake uses monkfruit sweetener to keep the glycemic index low.

Narang hinted at future additions to the menu, including a roasted tomato and strawberry sorbet with burrata cheese and balsamic caviar, and possibly even a cheese or mushroom-flavored ice cream. Recognizing the popularity of chilled treats for pets, LICK also offers “Drool Bowls” for cats and dogs.

LICK is located at HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, and is open daily from 3 pm to 11 pm.
