**MALAPPURAM, Kerala, March 6, 2025** – The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted simultaneous raids across India on Thursday, targeting 11 offices of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political offshoot of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI). The raids, focusing on allegations of money laundering, commenced around 10 a.m. and continued throughout the day.

One such raid took place at the SDPI’s Malappuram office in Kerala. The action follows the arrest of SDPI national president M.K. Faizy three days prior, an arrest that sparked protests from party members in several locations. The ED investigation is ongoing.
