Frank Vatrano, Cutter Gauthier, and Ryan Strome each scored in the second period to erase an early Canucks lead. Tyler Myers and Pius Suter had given Vancouver a quick 2-0 advantage within the first few minutes of the game. However, the Ducks responded with a dominant second and third period, scoring five unanswered goals.
