NEW DELHI – The Indian National Congress has established a new All India Congress Committee (AICC) department dedicated to managing the party’s nationwide assets and properties. Former Member of Parliament and current AICC Joint Treasurer, Vijay Inder Singla, has been appointed as the department’s in-charge, effective immediately. This move comes as the Congress party intensifies its preparations for upcoming assembly elections in several key states. The party is currently strategizing for elections in Bihar this year and in West Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry in 2024, holding meetings with state-level leaders to solidify its election plans.
