**Seoul, South Korea (Special Times) –** Thursday will see a mix of partly cloudy skies across the nation, with overcast conditions anticipated for the Gangwon-do’s east coast, the Gyeongsang-do’s east coast, and Jeju Island. Light rain is possible in parts of Gangwon-do’s central and southern east coast, Jeolla-do, Gyeongsang-do, and Jeju Island in the morning. Showers are also predicted for parts of Gangwon-do’s southern east coast and mountainous regions, the Gyeongsangbuk-do’s east coast and northeastern mountains, central Gyeongsangbuk-do inland, and Ulsan from afternoon to evening. Light snowfall (around 1cm) is possible in higher-altitude areas.
Morning temperatures ranged from a low of -1.5 degrees Celsius in Chuncheon to a high of 7.3 degrees Celsius in Jeju City. Seoul recorded 0.6 degrees Celsius. Afternoon highs are expected to reach between 6 and 11 degrees Celsius, aligning with typical temperatures for this time of year.
Significant temperature differences of over 10 degrees Celsius are anticipated between day and night, especially inland, urging residents to take precautions for their health. Sea conditions will see waves of 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the Yellow and South Seas, and 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea. Higher waves are expected further offshore.
