NEW DELHI, INDIA – The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the schedule for the second stage of computer-based tests (CBT 2) for various positions, including Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP), RPF Constable (Executive), Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
The CBT 2 exam for Assistant Loco Pilots is scheduled for March 19th and 20th, 2025. Candidates appearing for RRB ALP Stage 1, RRB JE Stage 2, and RPF Constable (Executive) exams can find detailed dates on the official RRB website.
A total of 18,799 ALP vacancies and 7,951 JE vacancies are to be filled. The JE vacancies include 7,934 positions for Junior Engineer, Depot Material Superintendent, and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant, along with 17 positions for Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research).
Candidates can download their e-call letters four days before their exam date from the exam city and date intimation link. SC/ST candidates will have access to the exam city and date information, and travel authority download links, 10 days prior to the exam date.
Crucially, biometric authentication using Aadhaar is mandatory before entry to the exam hall. Candidates must bring their original Aadhaar card or a printout of their e-Aadhaar for verification. Candidates are advised to verify their identity through Aadhaar verification on http://www.rrbapply.gov.in before the exam to ensure a smooth entry process.
