**Mangaluru, Karnataka:** A 40-year-old man from Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, was found dead in a Mangaluru lodge on [Date], allegedly after being deceived and exploited by a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer. Abhishek Singh, who worked for a private company in Chennai, was in Mangaluru with colleagues for a business exhibition.
Before his death, Singh recorded a 20-minute video confession which he uploaded to Instagram. In the video, he accuses CISF Assistant Commandant Monika Sihag of defrauding him by concealing her marital status and entering into a relationship with him. He claims Sihag emotionally, physically, and financially exploited him, allegedly taking gold jewelry worth ₹8 lakh (approximately $97,000 USD). He further alleges that Sihag engaged in similar relationships with other men.
Police have recovered the video and launched an investigation into Singh’s death. A case has been registered at the Pandeshwar police station. Authorities are currently investigating the allegations against Sihag and the circumstances surrounding Singh’s suicide.
