**Chennai, March 5, 2025** – The Tamil Nadu Class 11 state board examinations commenced today, March 5th, with the language paper. A total of 823,261 students are participating in the exams, which are being held across 3,316 centers statewide. Approximately 45,000 teachers are involved in the examination process daily, supported by over 4,800 flying squads deployed to ensure smooth conduct.
Early reports suggest the language paper was well-received by students, with one teacher describing it as “easy.” School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi took to X to congratulate students, invigilators, and officials on the seamless start to the examinations.
