**PUDUCHERRY, March 5, 2025** – Auroville has launched a new project aimed at naturally correcting vision impairments, particularly in children. The “Auro Perfect Vision” initiative, a collaboration between the Auroville Foundation and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, will operate from Bharat Nivas.
The project employs methods such as eye yoga, massage, and therapy to address common vision defects, including myopia, which is increasingly prevalent among children due to extensive screen time. The program also emphasizes preventative measures for long-term eye health.
Jayanti S. Ravi, Secretary of the Auroville Foundation, highlighted the project’s benefits for Aurovilians, visitors, and the wider bioregion, emphasizing its potential to naturally correct vision problems in children. The initiative will be led by Vengadesan Natarajan of the Aurokiya Integral Eye Centre in Auroville.
