Wed Mar 05 07:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Border Security Force Kills Pakistani Intruder in Amritsar
**Amritsar, Punjab:** A Pakistani intruder was shot and killed by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel near Kotrajda village in Amritsar district, Punjab, along the India-Pakistan border. Early this morning, vigilant BSF jawans observed suspicious activity near the border. The intruder was attempting to infiltrate Indian territory, taking advantage of wheat fields and uneven terrain.
Despite being challenged by the BSF, the intruder reportedly refused to stop and fled. Seeing his aggressive actions, the BSF personnel fired in self-defense, resulting in the intruder’s death on the spot. A mobile phone was recovered from the deceased during a subsequent search of the area.
The BSF subsequently handed over the body to the Ramdas police station after completing legal procedures. The body has been sent to the Ajnala Civil Hospital’s mortuary for post-mortem examination. Police official Baldev Singh confirmed receiving the body from the BSF and stated that the recovered mobile phone is currently under investigation. Further investigations are underway.
