**Moscow, March 1, 2025** – Russia claimed to have captured two more villages in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region on Saturday, while Ukrainian officials reported at least one death and 19 injuries from Russian strikes. The Russian Defense Ministry announced the seizure of Sudne and Burlatske, near the recently captured town of Velyka Novossilka.
Simultaneously, the Ukrainian Air Force reported intercepting 103 out of 154 launched Russian drones overnight.
