Tue Mar 04 12:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Packers Re-Sign Linebacker Isaiah McDuffie to Two-Year Deal

**GREEN BAY, WI** – The Green Bay Packers have locked up linebacker Isaiah McDuffie, agreeing to a two-year, $8 million contract with an additional $1 million in incentives, a source confirmed Monday. McDuffie, who was already in Green Bay, is expected to sign the deal later today.

McDuffie, a key contributor to the Packers’ defense, started all 17 games in the regular season. While he lost his starting inside linebacker position in nickel packages to rookie Edgerrin Cooper, he still played a significant role, seeing action in 67.4% of defensive snaps. He played primarily at weakside linebacker in the base defense before transitioning to the strongside after Cooper’s return from injury. McDuffie also contributed significantly on special teams.

In his first season with the Packers, McDuffie recorded 94 tackles, 0.5 sacks, two quarterback hits, and a forced fumble. He also added five special teams tackles, including two in the team’s playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. His familiarity with defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley, from their time together at Boston College, proved instrumental in his quick integration into the Green Bay scheme. The deal signals the Packers’ commitment to retaining a core player on their defense.
