**Hyderabad, Telangana, March 3, 2025** – The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) launched six new electric air-conditioned buses on Monday, serving Hyderabad’s IT corridor. Four buses will operate on route 216W, running between Lingampally and Mehdipatnam via key locations including Nallagandla, Gopanapally, and Wipro. The remaining two will operate on route 216G, connecting Lingampally and Lakshmi GAR, also traversing Nallagandla and Gopanapally.
The buses offer frequent service, with the first bus on route 216W departing Lingampally at 6:50 AM and the last at 10:10 PM. From Mehdipatnam, the first bus departs at 8:00 AM and the last at 11:00 PM. Route 216G sees its first bus from Lingampally at 6:15 AM and the last at 9:05 PM, with corresponding timings from Lakshmi GAR. This initiative aims to improve public transport within the city’s rapidly developing technology hub.
