Mon Mar 03 04:30:00 UTC 2025: ## SpaceX Set for Another Cape Canaveral Launch Sunday Night
**Cape Canaveral, FL** – SpaceX is preparing for its third launch in less than a week, targeting Sunday night for the liftoff of a Falcon 9 rocket carrying another batch of Starlink internet satellites. The launch, scheduled for 9:24 p.m. EST from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station’s Launch Complex 40, will mark the 20th orbital launch of the year from the Space Coast. Backup launch windows extend until 12:21 a.m. Monday.
The Falcon 9 will deploy the Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit on a southeasterly trajectory. Unlike some previous launches, no sonic booms are expected over Central Florida as the first-stage booster will attempt a landing on a SpaceX drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean.
This launch follows a busy Wednesday that saw SpaceX launch two separate missions: Intuitive Machines’ lunar lander to the moon from Kennedy Space Center, and a previous Starlink mission from Cape Canaveral. The back-to-back launches highlighted SpaceX’s rapid launch capabilities. SpaceX and Space Launch Delta 45 officials celebrated the quick turnaround on Thursday.
