**NEW DELHI** – Samsung has expanded its popular Galaxy A series with three new mid-range smartphones: the Galaxy A26, A36, and A56. These devices boast impressive features, including six years of guaranteed operating system updates and a suite of AI-powered enhancements, positioning Samsung strongly in the competitive mid-range market.
All three phones share a striking 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1900 nits (1200 nits in high brightness mode). They also feature an IP67 rating for water resistance. The devices run on One UI 7.0 based on Android 15, promising a long lifespan of software support.
The flagship of the trio, the Galaxy A56, is powered by the Exynos 1580 processor with AMD Xclipse 540 GPU, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its camera system includes a 50MP main lens with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro lens. A 12MP front-facing camera handles selfies.
The Galaxy A36 utilizes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor and Adreno 710 GPU, offering similar RAM and storage options. It features a nearly identical camera setup, substituting the A56’s 12MP ultrawide lens with an 8MP version.
The Galaxy A26, the most budget-friendly option, is equipped with an Exynos 1380 processor and Mali-G68 MP5 GPU, along with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage. Its camera system features a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens, while the front camera is a 13MP sensor. The A26 also stands out by including a 3.5mm headphone jack.
All three phones pack a 5,000mAh battery, with the A56 and A36 supporting 45W fast charging, and the A26 supporting 25W (no charger included in any box). Pricing starts at $299 for the A26, $399 for the A36, and $499 for the A56. Indian pricing and availability will be announced by Samsung on Monday.
