**Jalandhar, Punjab –** A pastor from a church in Jalandhar district, Punjab, has been arrested and charged with sexual harassment following a complaint filed by a woman. Pastor Bajinder Singh, a social media influencer with a substantial following, faces charges under sections 354A (sexual harassment), 354D (stalking), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.

According to police, the woman alleges that Singh, whom she and her family have known since 2017, began sending her inappropriate messages after obtaining her phone number. She further claims that since 2022, Singh repeatedly harassed her during private meetings in a church cabin, including inappropriate touching and hugging. The woman reportedly stated that her fear of the pastor prevented her from disclosing the incidents earlier.

Singh’s considerable social media presence, featuring endorsements from Bollywood celebrities Chunky Pandey and Aditya Pancholi, adds another layer to the case. The investigation is ongoing.
