**Villupuram, March 3, 2025** – A 19-year-old MBBS aspirant, R. Indumathi, was found dead at her home in Dadapuram near Tindivanam on Sunday. Indumathi, who had completed her Class 12 in 2022, was preparing for her second attempt at the NEET exam and attending coaching classes in Puducherry.
Police suspect suicide, but the exact cause of death is pending post-mortem examination. The incident reportedly followed a minor argument with her father after she provided an incorrect OTP for an OBC certificate application. The Vellimedupettai police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
