**Mumbai, India** – Reliance Jio Platforms Limited, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, is poised to launch a cloud-based AI personal computer, according to Akash Ambani, chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm. Ambani announced the upcoming product at Tech Week in Mumbai on Friday.
The AI-powered computer will be accessible from any consumer screen and will offer powerful capabilities for running AI applications. Ambani emphasized the company’s commitment to providing affordable, high-quality products accessible to millions of Indians, citing JioHotstar—a recent merger of JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar—as an example.
While a specific launch date remains unannounced, Ambani confirmed the product is in development and will soon be available as a consumer application. This cloud PC will function as a complete computer accessible from home.
This announcement follows the earlier unveiling of JioBrain, a distributed machine learning platform designed for enterprise use. JioBrain will leverage network edge and service provider cloud capabilities for machine learning training and application.
