Mon Mar 03 07:12:57 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Intermediate Exams to Begin March 5th: Over 9 Lakh Students Registered
**Hyderabad, March 3, 2025** – A total of 996,971 students will sit for the Telangana Intermediate Public Examinations 2025, beginning March 5th and concluding on March 25th. This was announced by Telangana Board of Intermediate Examination (BIE) secretary Krishna Aditya at a press conference today.
The exams, encompassing both first and second-year students across general, vocational, regular, and private streams, will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon daily to account for the hot weather. While hall tickets previously stated a strict 8:45 a.m. entry deadline, Mr. Aditya clarified that students arriving between 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. will be allowed to participate, but will lose time completing their OMR sheets and reviewing exam materials. A five-minute grace period will be provided beyond 9 a.m., however, students are urged to arrive by 8:45 a.m.
This year’s exams feature a significant security upgrade: all examination centers are equipped with CCTV cameras monitored from a central command control center at the BIE office in Hyderabad.
