Prasad, along with the BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia, strongly rebuked Mohamed’s comments. Mohamed’s claims are widely considered baseless given Sharma’s impressive career statistics. He is one of the greatest limited-overs openers in history, boasting over 11,000 ODI runs, including three double centuries, and over 4,000 T20I runs, with a record number of sixes in both formats.
