**Jaipur, Rajasthan –** Rajasthan has experienced a change in weather patterns, with light to moderate rain reported in Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions, according to the Meteorological Department. Some areas also experienced hail. Chittorgarh recorded the highest temperature at 34.7°C, while the lowest minimum temperature was 11.0°C.
The Met Department predicts a fresh Western Disturbance will soon impact the Western Himalayan region, bringing scattered to widespread rain or snowfall to Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Heavy rain is possible in some areas on March 3rd. Rajasthan is also expected to see rainfall, particularly in the Bikaner division, with light to moderate showers anticipated on March 3rd. Ganganagar and Hanumangarh districts may experience light rain with thunderstorms on the same day.
While temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable for the next 48 hours, a drop of 2-4°C in both minimum and maximum temperatures is likely from March 4th onwards due to northerly winds.
The Western Disturbance is also predicted to cause light to moderate rain or snowfall, accompanied by thunderstorms, in parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on March 3rd and 4th. Hail is possible in some areas of Punjab, while Himachal Pradesh may experience heavy rain/snowfall in isolated locations during the same period.
