**NEW YORK, NY** – Widespread protests erupted across the United States and parts of Europe on Saturday, targeting Tesla CEO Elon Musk and his alleged collaboration with President Donald Trump to slash government spending. Demonstrators gathered outside Tesla dealerships in over 50 cities, including New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, and others, as part of a coordinated effort dubbed “Tesla Takedown.”

The protests stem from Musk’s controversial role in a purported effort to restructure the US government, including significant federal job cuts and the cancellation of contracts. Critics accuse Musk of leveraging his influence to enrich himself while defying Congressional authority over the budget. His actions, they argue, extend to Musk’s other companies, including SpaceX and X (formerly Twitter).

Participants voiced concerns over Musk’s alleged alignment with Trump’s agenda, expressing fears about the implications for democratic governance and the potential for further government overreach.
