Sat Mar 01 22:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Uttar Pradesh Sees Clear Skies After Brief Spell of Wind and Rain

**Lucknow, March 1:** After a brief period of windy conditions and light rain in several districts earlier this week, Uttar Pradesh has returned to clear skies. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reports that all 75 districts of the state are currently in the green zone, indicating favorable weather conditions. Major cities including Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur, Jhansi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Agra, Prayagraj, and Mathura are expected to experience clear skies for the next five days, until March 7.

However, a new western disturbance is anticipated to impact northern and western India late on March 2. While this system approaches, Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava, a weather scientist at BHU, predicts a slight temperature fluctuation in both eastern and western Uttar Pradesh. Minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 2-4 degrees Celsius within the next 4-5 days, although maximum temperatures may see a slight increase over the next 48 hours.

On Saturday, the lowest temperature in Uttar Pradesh was recorded in Ballia at 11.5 degrees Celsius, while the highest was recorded in Jhansi at 34.7 degrees Celsius, according to the Amausi Meteorological Centre in Lucknow.
